Infants have been absolutely fantastic gaelgóiri this term. They have been practicing their informal Gaeilge on a day to day basis saying Hello - Dia duit .How are you? Conas atá tú? I am…Is mise. They have been showing their beautiful manners and showing respect to each other with kind words, focail cineálta. Please - Mas é do thoil é and thank you Go raibh maith agat. They can follow and give instructions Oscail an doras Open the door, Múch an solas Turn off the light. After midterm they will be doing their Corpoideachas PE through gaeilge as part of our school’s participation in CLIL an approach to teaching gaeilge through another subject. We have picked PE and we know that the children will continue to reap the benefits of the physical, social and academic learning in this area. school.
