I was so upset when I didn't get picked for the basketball team. I trained hard all year long and was really putting in an effort on and off the court. I went to training on Tuesday night and the team was being picked for the big game on Friday night. I was certain I was going to make it. Then when I checked the team I saw I didn't get picked and I was gutted. All my friends made it and I thought, does it really matter? After I got over the disappointment I remembered what the coach said. The coach said to me that I shouldn't give up and think about the team. That taught me a lesson to never give up.
